The short version

Progress App keeps your photos and entries on your iPhone. There is no account to create, nothing is uploaded to us, and we have no way to see what you record. The rest of this page explains that in full.

What we collect

Nothing. Ventura Studio does not collect, receive, store or sell any personal information through Progress App. There is no sign-up, no login, no email address, no advertising identifier, and no third-party tracking or analytics code in the app.

Where your photos and entries live

Everything you create in Progress App — your photos, dates and progress history — is written to the app’s private storage on your device and stays there. It is never transmitted to Ventura Studio or to anyone else.

If you have iCloud Backup or encrypted local backups turned on, your device backup may include Progress App’s data alongside your other apps. Those backups are managed by Apple under your own Apple ID and are covered by Apple’s privacy policy. We have no access to them.

Deleting the app removes its data from your device. Because we never receive that data in the first place, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.

Permissions the app asks for

Progress App requests three system permissions. Each one powers a single feature, and each is optional.

  • Camera — so you can take your daily photo inside the app. The photo is saved to the app on your device.
  • Photo library — so you can choose an existing photo, or save one back to your library when you ask for it.
  • Notifications — so the app can remind you to capture your photo. Reminders never include anything you have recorded.

You can grant or revoke any of these at any time in iOS Settings under Progress App. Declining a permission only turns off that one feature; the rest of the app keeps working.

Analytics

Progress App contains no analytics or crash-reporting code. The only information we ever see is Apple’s App Analytics: aggregated, anonymised figures such as download and crash counts, which Apple shows every developer in App Store Connect.

Apple shares this only if you have opted in on your device, under Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements → Share With App Developers. It never identifies you and never includes anything you record in the app. You can turn it off in the same place at any time.

Third parties

There are none. Progress App carries no advertising, no trackers and no third-party services, and we do not sell, rent or share personal information — because we do not hold any.

Children

Progress App is not directed at children under 13. Since the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children either.

Your rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal data a company holds about you. Ventura Studio holds no personal data about Progress App users, so there is nothing for us to hand over or erase — your data stays in your hands, on your device. If you would like that confirmed in writing, just ask.

Changes to this policy

If Progress App ever changes how it handles data, we will update this page and change the date at the top before the change takes effect.
